👉 What happens?

• Notes appear instantly AND sound matches timing
  → This is NOT a latency issue → check Scoring Issues (Notes Marked Incorrect)
• Notes appear instantly, but sound is delayed
  → Audio latency → Continue
• Notes appear delayed on screen
  → Input latency → Continue

🧠 What’s Happening (Simple)

Latency = delay between:

• Pressing a key
• Seeing or hearing the result

👉 On iOS, this is usually caused by:

• Bluetooth audio
• Device performance
• Connection issues

🔍 Step 1 — Eliminate Bluetooth Audio (MOST IMPORTANT)

This is the #1 cause on iOS.

If using Bluetooth headphones/speakers:

• Disconnect Bluetooth
• Use device speakers OR wired headphones

⚠️ Important:

• Bluetooth ALWAYS adds delay
• Even “good” Bluetooth has noticeable latency

👉 Test again.

• Fixed? → Done
• Still delayed? → Continue

🎧 Step 2 — Check Audio Output Routing

• Open Control Center
• Tap audio output panel

👉 Make sure sound is going to:

• Device speakers
• OR wired headphones

⚠️ Common issue:

• Audio routed to hidden/inactive device

👉 Test again.
