Can I use an acoustic piano?
If you are using an acoustic piano, you can still use Piano Marvel via our Self Assessment Mode. This will allow you to progress through the lessons at your own pace by marking whether you have completed a song or not, however, you will not receive the feedback on notes you play as you would with a digital keyboard connected to your device. There are some key differences between the two modes:
MIDI Keyboard Mode:
Provides feedback on your performance
Tracks your lesson & song progress automatically
Allows for SASR tests
Self Assessment Mode:
No feedback on your performance
Allows you to manually track song progress
No SASR tests
